If Director Says “Jump”, You’d Better Start Levitating
Author: The HandymanThe writing staff has granted me the rare privilege of addressing you directly. In fact, the head writer said he was giving me “carte blanche”, whatever that means (and I don’t care, as long I continue to do whatever I want … I’d better get on with it, since I don’t want to use my white card on parenthetical remarks).
Anyhoo, I (along with the rest of the staff) am ecstatic that our online audience has nearly tripled in the last couple of weeks. I’d like to think our burgeoning success is largely due to my indelible, artistic imprint on our full-length episodes and shop-hacks, but the staff’s decision to allow The Handyman to Twitter may have played at least a small role in all of this, too.
Whatever the reason, from the bottom of my sooty, shriveled, pitted date of a heart, thank you, thank you, thank you. And hang on, because we’re just starting to rev this lumbering engine at the start of what promises to be one wild ride.
As the Handyman says, “Rock the Shop!”
